Reciprocal Verbs
Verbs can be classified into many types. They include transitive, intransitive, finite, non-finite, main, auxiliary and modal. Another type is reciprocal.
Reciprocal verbs indicate actions with two or more people. For example, They kissed consists of the reciprocal verb kiss. It is possible to extend the sentence by adding each other. The sentence then becomes They kissed each other.
