mar (sea)
mariposa (butterfly)
montaña (mountain)
sol (sun)
vida (life)
Five of the words end with the vowel [a], a low central vowel. Four end with liquids and one with a fricative. Four of the words are monosyllabic. The longest word, mariposa, has four syllables.
